Fantastic video about making hard choices, something I know that we all have to deal with in life at times.

We are living in a time where events that only happened a few months ago seem ages ago. Remember what happened in August when the #ICEBucketChallenge was raging globally on social media. It was one family who changed the face of #ALS and raised enormous amounts of money and awareness to fight this horrendous disease. Pete Frates made a promise when he got diagnosed and his family followed suit. What an accomplishment. And as his mother Nancy Frates did this amazing, inspiring #TEDtalk which will inspire everyone.

The UN is having a summit this week in NYC to address global climate action, a real issue that we need to be aware of. This TED talk enlightens us of the true issues our world faces if we do nothing, and what we need to be aware of to make changes in the future. Become part of the solution #climate2014

It doesn’t happen everyday that you get to talk to a spiritual guru renowned Deepak Chopra and exchange some ideas. I feel very grateful to be able to share my story with him. It was such a pleasure.

Green-minded architect and designer William McDonough asks what our buildings and products would look like if designers took into account “all children, all species, for all time.

My cousin, Mike van der Wal and his wife Jules, decided to go of the grid and live their life on a boat. After leaving from New Zealand they have had such incredible experiences throughout the South Pacific. Beyond experiencing culture and life as they’ve never seen before, they are also experiencing their own life and time in a unique way. He wrote a quote I found so touching:
